ChronoPoints just completed a laser scan of the “Charging Knight” statue situated near the main entrance to the University of Central Florida’s Spectrum Stadium. Artist Don Reynolds created the cast bronze artwork. Upon its 2007 unveiling, then UCF President John C. Hitt noted the statue was representative of UCF’s excellence in academics, its partnerships with the community, and its athletics. Reynolds also created several additional artworks on campus including the Veterans Commemorative Site and statue of the university’s first president, Charles Millican.
