ChronoPoints researchers traveled to visit with CHET partner, the Hollywood Historical Society. Located in the historic Hammerstein House at 1520 Polk St, the Hollywood Historical Society is active in preserving the heritage of the City of Hollywood. Its research facilities hold images, postcards, pamphlets, maps, and many other resources – including bound copies of the Hollywood Sun-Tattler.
We will be working with the Hollywood Historical Society here on the East Coast while partner San Diego State University is collaborating directly with the La Mesa History Center. Both organizations provide rich historical resources of their respective communities with their own unique needs for the CHET project.
