ChronoPoints is now developing a ‘life history’ of the former First National Bank of Cape Canaveral. Designed by noted Sarasota School architect Gene Leedy, the two-story structure was completed in 1963. Located just north of Cocoa Beach, in the City of Cape Canaveral, the building’s overall size and its impressive interior vault are reflective of visions of the area’s potential future growth.
A laser scan of the building is underway. We are seeking assistance from those who may have photographs, memorabilia, or memories of the bank. While all photographs are welcome, we are especially interested in those from the bank’s initial ten years of operation. If you have any items please contact us and we will be happy to scan your images.
