Like the Glass Bank in Cocoa Beach, the Hollywood Bread Building became a navigational signpost in Hollywood. As with the Glass Bank, its construction marked a new phase in the community’s development. Unfortunately, with time it would suffer a similar period of abandonment and neglect that led to its demolition.
