UCF Today discusses Drs. Walters and Kider’s latest National Endowment for the Humanities – Digital Humanities Advancement Grant, MemoryScan. MemoryScan originally received seed funding from UCF’s Office of Research, and the ChronoPoints team was pleased to validate this support by following up with such a prestigious national grant.
MemoryScan will create and use a virtual environment to gather their reflections of the city in the 1950-70s. UCF Today’s Robert Stephens captures the collaboration between Historian Walters and Computer Scientist Kider to provide new uses for virtual environments.
